Taos 2025 Recap: Skiing, Snowboarding & Southwest Vibes with OKC Ski Club

Taos 2025 , 2/14 – 2/18
Our Taos 2025 adventure delivered everything we love about OKC Ski Club trips: great people, fresh snow, bluebird skies, and unforgettable mountain memories.

We left OKC right on time with a bus full of excited travelers aboard Village Tours’ luxury Executive Cruiser. By Saturday morning, we rolled into El Pueblo Lodge, greeted by a hearty Taos-style breakfast — the first of several we’d enjoy during our stay.

The mountain welcomed us with fresh snowfall, and it continued throughout the day. After our first full day of skiing and snowboarding, we gathered Saturday night for the club’s signature wine & cheese social, complete with chips, salsa, and lively storytelling about our slope-side victories. Some ventured into town for a taste of Taos cuisine, while others recharged early for another big day.

❄️ Bluebird Days, Group Dinners & Karaoke Nights

Sunday brought nothing but sunshine and pristine runs. That evening, the group headed to the ever-popular Guadalajara Grill for a festive dinner — and yes, even a round of karaoke afterward (some performances more memorable than others).

On Monday, we nearly had the mountain to ourselves, enjoying another mostly bluebird day with terrain for every level. After one last round of runs, we returned to El Pueblo to clean up, change, and prep for our return. We grabbed pizza in Las Vegas, NM, then slept our way home aboard the cruiser — arriving back in OKC before dawn.

🎿 A Trip to Remember

Whether it was the snow, the sunshine, or the company — Taos 2025 was the kind of trip that reminds us why we do this. From ski veterans to new faces, everyone brought the good vibes and shared in a few days of adventure, laughter, and high-altitude beauty.
